I’m sure the lives of Abu Laith and Hakam will eventually intersect but the back and forth of events in their lives at the beginning with no connection made this a little disjointed feeling. I found the events in each of their lives to be interesting and I do want to read more to see what will happen. The fact that this is true makes it even more intriguing to know what happens to these people and the animals.
