This book was a very intriguing mystery from the very beginning. I was hooked from the first chapter because I love when a book jumps into the conflict straight away. I thought I knew what was going to happen several times, but then was always thrown for a little bit of a plot twist. I liked Ella as a main character, and was fighting for her to be the “good guy” the whole time and not the bad guy she is portrayed as in the beginning. I liked the character development throughout the book too! The author has a very young adult centered style of writing, which I thought goes very well with the plot and characters of the book. I would recommend this book to anyone who throughly enjoys mystery or suspense novels, and I would especially recommend it to people who are newer to this genre. It is a good, easy read that keeps you engaged from start to finish!
