I just read the first 3 chapters of this book and I’m very intrigued to learn the entire story of what really happened to Hayley. It is sad to see how broken Ella is after losing her best friend in a tragic accident. To see how everything in her life is now forever changed and seeing Ella try to go on with her life. She is haunted by the past, the friends she used to have, and is now alone. Her relationship with her family has changed, it just isn’t the same after Hayley. The things that used to be said are no longer spoken, as if everyone is tiptoeing around someone who is supposed to be so fragile after a death. The book is written very well and it is easy to get consumed in. I look forward to being able to finish this story one day. I do feel like there is more information about the accident that will slowly be revealed in the chapters to come. I hope my local library has this book on their shelf, I need to finish the story like right now!
