I had a feeling this book would twist my insides, and it definitely did not disappoint. At times I felt as though it was slow paced, but the twists were so good. It left me guessing, and I truly was not expecting the ending. The cover….i wish it captured more of what the actual book was about. I personally love covers that truly capture the essence of the story between the pages. This cover really did not do the book justice, in my opinion. It was just too busy for me.
Sometimes I feel as though authors try too hard to get the surprise factor, but this one felt pretty natural to me. While I did enjoy the surprise twists, I do wish it flowed a little better. At times it felt as though the writing and the direction the book was going in were a little choppy. Even with those little quirks, I could not put this book down. I would love to read more by this author.
