The writing style comes across as very YA, which isn't bad, especially because this is a YA book. But it definitely was the first thing that I noticed. From this first impression, there is a typical high school senior who has gone through trauma. I have a feeling that this boy, Sawyer, who saved her from being hit by a vehicle, will be a love interest. But I still am super curious and this book is totally up my alley. I am excited to read the rest!
