The cover was just ok- I think shattered images are a bit overdone.
I really enjoyed the end of the second chapter- adding in some complex cultural family structure + grief is really interesting to me. I want to know what happens next!
One thing I don’t love about some YA books (and for this one it’s too soon) is whether or not the melodrama is persistent in the plot. That said, it’s an easy read and I think I would like it!
