I think this excerpt has made me interested in this book but I’m not sure. There just wasn’t enough information about why Ella is struggling for me to figure out if I would like the book or hate it. It seems like none of the adults know how to help Ella which might make it a difficult read but I’m really curious about what happened to Hayley, how does Ella’s relationship with Sawyer develop and what are the secrets.
