The blurb was interesting, but the sample felt a bit jumpy. I don't read a lot of young adult books, but I'm not sure about this one. I don't really enjoy books that have a strong romance/love life focus, and the grief angle is a place I just can't go to at this time for various reasons. This could have potential, and I'm sure there's an audience for it.
