My heart breaks for Ella. She blames herself for her best friend's death that occurred a year ago but she can't remember all the details because of the injuries she sustained. She is guilt ridden and feels like she disappointed her family, shattered Hayley's mom's world, doesn't deserve her friends circle. She has been avoiding the world around her and trying to cope with her best friend's death that she caused. Ella started senior year in high school and now has to face reality and those she hurt.
I'm interested to see how Ella comes to terms with losing her best friend, her memories flooding back and how those around her will forgive. Most of all I want to see if Ella forgives herself and how she evolves from this tragedy. I want to continue reading Ella's journey and hope it continues to bring various emotions to me, the reader.
