Admittedly, these are not the best first chapters I have ever read. The writing is more juvenile than I'd hoped, and I don't feel particularly connected to any of these characters. That being said, I have high hopes for where this story will take me. A grief-stricken girl with no memories of her friend's death, a missing body, and the promise of secrets... Despite the lackluster beginning, I would love to see where it goes. Of course, the beautiful cover helps. I especially enjoy the cracked glass, reminding us of the accident that killed Hayley.
