Self-help is not a genre I gravitate towards, but with an introduction written by Lisa Genova, an author I have great respect for, I was intrigued by Elevate. I wish, however, that the early sections of this book would have included some background on the author. If I'm going to invest my time in a wordy self-help book, I'd like more information about who the advice is coming from and how he developed these ideas. The cover and design of this book are very beautiful, but I'm not sure whether the content supports them.
