Jane Tennison ends up on the Flying Squad , aka Sweeney, and is in for a suprise on her first day of work. Not only is there an armored car robbery , Jane must deal with her predominately male coworkers who don't seem to think a woman can quite handle the job. But they quickly accept her into the group and begin looking for suspects of recent robberies. Jane has to overcome dealing with her boss who sends her on menial tasks.
I loved reading this story and the book is very well written. Easy to follow and keeps you interested as to what happens next page after page. I highly recommend this book if you like detective novels. This is the first book I have read in the series and I must say I will be purchasing the others and reading them from the beginning!
