The first few pages didn’t grab me, nor did the description of the book capture my interest. The story of a woman trying to show her male coworkers that she’s up to doing the tough work seems like a tired theme. I appreciate feminist-driven books (which are definitely trending right now), but I am more interested in them when something new is being done.
