While it is somewhat appealing, I simply won't be jumping in because it's a series and I have too many of those I'm juggling already, without trying to catch up on older books to start another.
That said, I think it's probably a great read. I do like thrillers, although not detective thrillers in particular. But for those already invested in the series, this a great opportunity.
