I haven't read anything from the Tennison series, or any la Plante in the past, but from what I've seen it's possible to pick up the series from the beginning. This is outside the usual genres I read, but I am interested in getting more into all kinds of mysteries, so I'm excited to give this a try, especially with that exciting opening in the excerpt.
