The opening scene instantly captures the pace and excitement of a police chase and is so well described that the reader feels they are along for the ride! The colorful world of London cops and robbers, complete with slang and banter, makes for a book that I’d love to read! Jane Tennison has featured in other books by this author and she’s a gutsy and maverick female policewoman in a time when it was most definitely a man’s world! A must read book!
