This book started with a crime scene being set and action right from the start. There are different types of readers, and I’m sure this would appeal to many of them. I would prefer getting to know characters a little better as a setting is introduced. I’m more into character development and easing into a plot. I am curious as to how Jane will fit into this situation of working with this group of men, but in general I’m not a reader of detective stories. I think the author has done a good job, though, of setting up a story many would enjoy
