I feel like Lynda la Plante's books always deliver with their plot, storyline, and the writing itself. However, it feels like I don't get anything new from her. After reading several of her books, I feel like they have the same theme (crime, heists) and are therefore predictable. This one doesn't stand out to me all that much, but I guess it may be because I'm not that big of a fan of the Jane Tennison thrillers she's written either. She's a tried and true author for delivering entertainment, so if you want something you know will deliver and you've enjoyed her other works, definitely grab this. I just feel a little bored with her books these days.
