This is not my type of book, which I already knew from the cover, but I wanted to give it a chance anyway. It's good that the summary lets you know exactly what it's about.I did not know who the author was. From what I read here, it delves right into the story of her life; I think it would have been better if anecdotes and reflections lead into each. It would have flowed better. I also did not like the writing style but there's a good chance that it improves later in the book.
