The premise of this book was very unique and almost slapstick-esque. It starts with a patient who essentially explodes on the operating table, and from there continues to get more bizarre as the death is looked into. The humor in this book was very juvenile and the sex that was included in it was focused on far too much and made me distinctly uncomfortable.

I would definitely say that the characters were incredible unique in this book, but the storyline was hard for me to follow. The book within a book aspect took me a long time to figure out, which made it difficult to focus on what was really occurring.

Corrupted Humours might be better suited for someone with a very dry sense of humor who likes fart jokes and really weird, out there characters who you wouldn't come across in other stories. Unfortunately, that reader is not me and I did not finish it.
