Corrupted Humours is different from the books that usually pop up on Bookish First. I was intrigued by the premise, a medical whodunnit mystery surrounding an explosion on the operating table. The narrative voice is distinct and eloquent, although the protagonist gives off a slightly creepy, perverted vibe.
