How does a story that starts with SOMEONE BLOWING UP ON AN OPERATING TABLE lead to S&M and a love story?!? And I'm only getting this from the EXCERPT! AND the title itself includes the word "HUMOURS"?! This book just sounds way too weird for me. I'll pass.
