I generally love murder mysteries, but this book does not seem for me. I am intrigued by the medical mystery, it sounds good for anyone interested in medical dramas, like Grey’s Anatomy. However, the writing style is confusing. The chapters switch between a first person memoir-type story of the narrator who is investigating the mystery, and a novel that the narrator has written based on the mystery. Again, it seems intriguing, but is more confusing than enjoyable. The writing style also seems very male-centered, focusing on male urges. I feel like this book is for very specific readers, it may not be for everyone.
