A New Sort of Mystery
With a striking cover, Corrupted Humour, promises an interesting read. But with a writing style which occasionally reads as part info-dump, part stream of consciousness, it is not a mystery which is easy to engage with.
The humour is hit or miss - often choosing a low-brow joke over others - and the language often too clinical for the average reader. Perhaps this is more suited to another audience, but it is not a book which I would recommend.
