I want to start by thanking the author, publisher, and BookishFirst.com for giving me the opportunity and pleasure of reading an early/advanced copy of this book. I have to admit that when I saw this book pop up on BookishFirst.com under First Looks, I was a little thrown off by the cover art. I was not sure that they book would be one of interest to me based on that initial impression. I know they say not to judge a book by it's cover, but I did. When I do these reviews I like to think of what it would be if I were in a bookstore or library and saw that cover, would I be drawn in? I am thankful to BookishFirst.com for proving me wrong in this instance and giving me the chance to read the first look, and choosing me to get a full copy. I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. For me personally it was not a quick read, but I did enjoy the story. I would highly recommend to others.
