I found the sneak peek of Compass to be easy to read and enjoyable. I like the narrator's admission of lying. So many of us likely suspect a glossing over of truth in memoirs, biographies, and even autobiographies and this narrator readily admits this. I like the voice he uses and I look forward to reading this book. Although he says he survives his trip, I really want to read how it goes.
