This story has a very dark tone and the humor falls flat for me. I definitely didn't enjoy reading the sample. I'm sure it would appeal to some but for me it's a miss. The cover too is very strange and unappealing. It would make me shy away from picking it up in a bookstore - which is perhaps fitting as that is also how I feel about the content.
