I really enjoyed this book. My review will not contain any cliffhangers for anyone concerned about that! The writing was strong and I found that I never felt any distraction in this book by the writing of two different authors, like I have with many books that are coauthored in the past. This one flowed and the voices of the characters were distinct and well-done. The characters exist in a fascinating world and I truly hope the authors are planning a sequel since the story ended abruptly and on a cliffhanger. There is so much more that can happen in this interesting universe, and I’m hoping that we will get answers to questions, more backstory for both Caspian and Darling, and that we get to find out more about what happens after the final scene. Aside from the cliffhanger (because those are so mean!), my only complaint is that I wanted to see more world building and get more background. However, those complaints are not enough for me to give this a lower rating.
