This book had me practically drooling at the end for how much I needed the next book. The characters were lovable and the plot had me hooked. Although it was very hard for me to get through at first, it eventually found its footing and from that point on, I was addicted. The novel is written from two perspectives with each other chapter alternating. The first character, Darling Seabreak, is a black, bisexual young woman who is the last surviving member of House Sphinx. And the second, Talon Goldhoard, is the war Prince of House Dragon. These characters, although I found Darling and Talon very similar, still ended up having my heart, and can not wait for book two so I can get more of them anschreiben awesome plot. Especially considering how fantastic that cliffhanger was! This book is very similar to the authors other works, but since it is YA, it is much faster paced and I would highly recommend!
