I didn't love this book so I ended up DNF'ing it about 10% in. It just felt too young for me and I really disliked the main character's name. I know, I know, it was in the description of the book but I overlooked that for a cool book about dragons.
From what I read, the plot was already failing to grip me and keep my attention. The writing just wasn't doing it for me and it overall just felt odd. I also noted there was basically instant love and I really hate that in books. There were just a lot of aspects of this book that just wasn't going the way I was expecting.
I feel like this book could have been so so good but it just fell flat. I was supposed to believe that the main character was going to do all these things as an assassin but I just didn't. I had high hopes for Chaos and Flame but I was sadly incredibly disappointed. I will not be recommending this book to anyone I know.
