I won this book is a Bookish First giveaway and was thrilled when I got it. This review is entirely my own.
It was amazing! The characters were well written and came to life. The story left off the page and left.you wanting more with every turn of the page. The ending had my mouth hanging open and I NEED the next book yesterday. It has enemies to lovers. Enemies to friends. It is lush and vibrant.
On the other side, there was a lot left unexplained and things got a little muddled in middle. I would have also liked to have more from Caspian's POV. Not every other chapter, but here and there to break up the Darling/Talon chapters but also because he was so under developed. There can be so much more for his character. I also wish we had more background on the characters and the different houses.
I loved this book and cannot wait for the next one. Would I recommend? Yes!
