I enjoyed the world building part of this and the fantasy as well. It did start of a bit slow and took me a while to get into it. I was excited for this book and ended up enjoying it had an interesting magic system to it. I devoured this book in one setting it was kinda fast paced but I didn’t mind. It did have some good twist and keeps you guessing. Can’t wait to see what happens next! This book is a great YA to add to your shelf , I loved the world this took place in. This book had an incredible start even if it was a bit slow it had a great hook to introduce the characters to readers. The plot slowed down a bit after the initial action scene. Even with its oddities this was a great read I am looking forward to the next book. I’m excited to see where this series goes. The ending was exciting leaving us with so many questions left to answer. I don’t regret picking up this book enjoyed it more then I thought I would
