it was really hard to pick a rating for this book because of one simple thing. I hated it until I didn't. The first 3/4 of the book was super boring and I almost put it down forever so many times. It just wasn't hitting the spot that I wanted it to. I felt like the characters were bland and things were happening for dumb reasons and there were so many secrets from the reader. And everyone hated each other. But I really wanted to see what was going to happen at the end of the book. So I kept reading.
And then the last 1/4 of the book was AMAZING. It almost made up for the rest of the book. It was disappointing to have to wait that long for the book to get good though. But the ending actually made me want to read the next book. I'm also conflicted about this because I don't want to have to suffer through a boring 3/4 just to get to a good 1/4 of the book. I really don't have a recommendation if you should read this or not.
