I wanted to read this book just from the synopsis. It seems to be a series in the works. I like the strong female character. The cover reminds me of several other book series which is a double-edged sword because at first I thought it was another popular fantasy series and only took the time to read because of that. And although it was a new novel, the story fortunately pulled me in and I gave it the chance it deserved.
