The book started out with a bang, describing prophetic dreams, which I absolutely love. I was immediately drawn into the story of a Dragon who paints a girl he doesn't know, yet still feels called to protect. When the story shifts to Darling, I was drawn in more, intrigued about the so called "boons" and wanting to know more and more about the magic and why the girl must wear smoke fogged goggles. I can tell this will be a fascinating story and I cannot wait to read more!
