Right from the start, the fantasy world of this book opens up and swallows you. I felt intrigued by the folklore-ish beginning, which kept me reading. The fantasy world truly immersed me and made me want to know more and experience it to the full.
The characters felt really powerful and promising. It's sometimes a struggle to get the true nature of them when there's a dual-POV, but I felt like both characters have such strong personalities that the authors were holding nothing back. I look forward to learning more about them when I read the full book.
