I have a bachelors degree in English so this first read was especially fun for me. The main character reminded me of one of my professors. I could see the story vividly in my mind and picture my English department playing the roles. This first look took me back to my college days and that was quite a joy. The main character felt real and her voice was exactly as an English professor should sound. Also the description of her office sounded just like all of my professors' offices. I mainly read fantasy and science fiction so I am not sure I will continue this story but it would be a fun story to suggest to someone who is going into college and wants a bit of a sneak peak along with books from students' view points.
