This was a good fiction book that was also a good source about how to get tenure in a college setting. The characters were well written and the author did a good job of stringing out the revelation of their personalities. I really enjoyed the way she let us know what was happening to the main character by showing emails that the character received. I also liked the way she wrote in a conflict for the author between 2 love interests.
This book kept my interest throughout and led me through the character's lives to see where they were going. I couldn't wait to find out where they would all end up. This book was also good at revealing just how human professors are. We sometimes don't realize that they have difficulties in their lives also.
