I am such a fan of this book. If you are in the early stages of planning your first entrepreneurial venture, this is a great resource that covers lots of ground, raises points you probably haven’t considered, and offers a wide array of different examples and business stories. I was first drawn to this book because of the author’s unusual choice to begin by addressing the reasons you might NOT want to turn your hobby into a business. This is the best advice I’ve seen in how to think through this initial decision. From there the book covers all of the soft and hard skills & decisions you’ll face, introducing you to different entrepreneurs along the way and giving them a chance to share their stories and best advice. The book is fun & encouraging, and the author’s tone has a nice balance to it - it’s clear that she appreciates the excitement of entrepreneurship and also understands how much work is involved. I hope to read more from her in the future.
