Though I didn’t love that this first look started in chapter five, it makes sense after reading—this seems to be when the action of the book starts. I really enjoyed the tone of the story so far; the author’s writing style flows well and is easy to read, and Darren/Buck is a relatable character going through a completely unique and different experience that the reader gets to go through with him.
