Sounds interesting -- but I could do without the sex and cussing

With this story opening on chapter 5, it was hard to get a sense of what would even come before the burger scene. I liked the dialect, family connectedness, and underdog theme right from the start. I wished it didn't have so much profanity, though, and the sex scene was just not necessary. As much as I would probably like this book, I'm going to pass.
