From concept to execution so far, I think "Black Buck" is pretty great. It seems to be going for exaggeration to make a point about thriving as a black person in a workplace that's predominately white, and I'm here for it. The startup is complete madness and I'm right with Darren like, Is this seriously happening?
Also looking forward to getting to know the characters better. Darren is already so relatable, and I love his easy and sweet relationship with his mom and his girlfriend, Soraya. Speaking of, I just adore the fact that Darren and Soraya are childhood friends?? It feels so refreshing to have an established relationship founded on friendship.
