Look, I couldn't finish the entire thing. It's just not for me. There's NYC, there's big industrials, big white men in power and poor black people aweing and looking up to them. I just couldn't read it. It did have some pretty powerful points like how in the world can anyone survive on minimum wage in NYC(spoiler alert you cant!) But i feel like the excerpt just wasn't a good place to start reading it.
