I love reading from African American authors. Being able to understand the world and what they’re talking about. Money is a big thing in our culture and moving up and doing really well, isn’t as welcoming as you might think. Struggling, job hunting, jealousy. This hits all of those points thus far and I’m ready for more! I kind of get In Living Color vibes from the cover, and that was show back in the day!
