I really enjoyed this excerpt. The workplace Darren enters is outrageous and uncomfortable, but it is just an amplified portrayal of the truth. I like how the author draws attention to clearly problematic and frightening aspects of the workplace that are just considered normal in our society. I enjoy the humorous tone used to tell Darren's story and I am excited to read more.
