As a reader from a bicultural background and with friends and family from all over the world, the first few sentences of Chapter 5 got my attention. From there, the story built more and more on the discomfort and concern I felt.
I empathize very much with the main character. Sadly, much of what these chapters describe fits with the current climate in America. I am curious what Dar will do.
