I enjoyed the characterization in the first excerpted chapter, and I appreciated the depiction of the extreme racism of the central character's new workplace--it was VERY reminiscent of "Sorry to Bother You," so an apt comp in the description. The "Wolf of Wall Street" part isn't really my taste--I know it's not particularly unrealistic of that toxic work culture (though here I think there's a level of hyperbole), but I dislike reading about it.
