Darren has the potential to be so much more then just a coffee baristo. As he learns more about what he could become and how he can do better he strives for it. Becoming a salesman leader and someone who can help other youth in his culture.
This particular story is not something that I am interested in. I much prefer Fantasy and Sci-Fi. This book was very well written and showcases the type of person that many people need to associate with young people of color instead of their own preconceived notions.
