Behind Every Lie is a powerful read. That's putting it simply. This author is SO very talented. The book is told in alternating points of view between present day Eva and her mom in the past. I enjoy this style of reading honestly. It makes it much easier to follow and kept my interest through the entire story.
The main character, Eva, is in the hospital after being struck by lightning. When she awakes, she learns that she is the number one suspect in her mom's murder. She didn't do it. .. or did she?
