3.5 stars for me on this one. Good thriller but I saw some of the end and twists coming. I like her writing a lot which made me fly through the book but some parts felt forced. Some of the pacing felt odd. It would speed up and then slow down , plus there was lots going on and many characters to keep track of.
I loved the dual character alternating chapters and the last vs present where we find out so much about how the characters came to be. Kat was such an interesting person who went through so much and although Eva seems vain and shallow, we learn a lot about her experiences that shaped her.
Overall I recommend this book as it is a quick read and I do enjoy her writing as I did in The Night Olivia Fell. The author definitely keeps you guessing until the end.
